Ha partecipato alla definizione della legge Cinese sulla   disabilità, facendo parte della commissione Italo-Cinese (area Education e Health).  Si è occupata inoltre, di sostegno ai disabili coinvolti in emergenze, disastri naturali, guerre e occupazioni   militari,  partecipandovi nella qualifica di referente scientifico ai lavori della commissione sammarinese sulla legge quadro sulla disabilità. 

Obiettivo generale del Dipartimento Disabilità  Fisiche, Mentali e Senili

L’obiettivo del Dipartimento Disabilità Fisiche, Mentali e Senili è quello di aiutare le autorità a vari livelli da quello Governativo a quello Comunale, a sviluppare l’attuazione delle leggi nazionali ed internazionali che negli ultimi 50 anni sono entrate in vigore.

Per ottenere questo obiettivo il Dipartimento sviluppa uno studio analitico e sintetico delle leggi nazionali ed internazionali che nel settore disabilità sono state approvate e che devono essere applicate e monitorate.

Si intende dunque, sviluppare una serie di iniziative editoriali, Convegni, Seminari, Incontri formativi, finalizzati al garantire alle autorità a vari livelli la corretta applicazione delle leggi.

L’attività prodotta dagli esperti del Dipartimento verrà illustrata attraverso i vari tipi di sistemi di comunicazione, che, con la loro ricerca, contribuiranno a costituire una rete di protezione, di guida e di sostegno del disabile, nelle diverse aree di sviluppo della vita dell’individuo (scuola, lavoro, sanità, sport, etc.).

Tale rete potrà essere utilizzata dai politici per l’individuazione di nuove norme, di progetti e di attività finanziarie basate sulla efficacia e l’efficienza finalizzate a favorire l’inclusione sociale delle persone con disabilità.

E’ fondamentale proporre come obiettivo prioritario lo sviluppo della socialità delle persone con la disabilità. Infatti, l’ottenimento dello stesso è di fatto il fine ultimo a cui tendono tutte le iniziative legislative concernenti le persone disabili.

Si tratta di finalizzare a questo scopo di fondo tutte le attività, da quella scolastica a quella lavorativa, dalle provvidenze di natura familiare alle iniziative di natura culturale, ricreativa e di sostegno alle persone con disabilità.

Obiettivi specifici del Dipartimento Disabilità  Fisiche, Mentali e Senili

Dietro un’analisi capillare sul territorio e seguendo i processi indicati dalla Convenzione ONU sui diritti dei disabili che vertono sopratutto sull’identificazione delle potenzialità positive e delle eccellenze tra la popolazione dei disabili, abbiamo deciso di organizzare, a livello Nazionale, un concorso per ogni area tematica trattata dalla Convenzione stessa.

L’obiettivo è quello di sviluppare e  divulgare una conoscenza dei principi basilari della Convenzione ONU, attraverso esempi concreti di vita vissuta.

Inoltre, con il Concorso si intende sviluppare un comune lignaggio che serva per mettere in rete le strutture pubbliche e private, che sono tenute (dalla Convenzione) a occuparsi della disabilità.

Intendiamo cogliere l’occasione dell’evento, che sarà ripetuto annualmente, per permettere alle strutture di dialogare tra loro, costituendo così, nel tempo, un sistema comunicativo comune.

L’attivazione di questo sistema permetterà di migliorare la situazione delle persone disabili, previsto dalla Convenzione, attraverso lo scambio di know how ed esperienze dal basso (territorio) verso l’alto (Politiche)  e viceversa.

Il Dipartimento si propone dunque, di organizzare una serie di concorsi circa le seguenti tematiche

  1. La salute
  2. La famiglia del disabile
  3. Il lavoro
  4. La scuola
  5. Lo sport
  6. Attività culturali e artistiche
  7. L’inclusione: i Comuni a confronto
