Martedì 19 febbraio la Guardia di Finanza ha eseguito un sequestro preventivo da 700 milioni di euro a carico di due società e cinque banche. In realtà si tratta di una vicenda che ha radici profonde perché va avanti da anni. Solo adesso però è tornata alla ribalta in quanto tra i risparmiatori truffati vi sarebbero anche personaggi noti , dello sport e dello spettacolo. L’inchiesta si riferisce a fatti che vanno dal 2012 al 2016 e vede coinvolte le società IDB e DPI che avevano iniziato un’attività di vendita di diamanti attraverso alcune banche, come forma di investimento “sicuro” che ponesse al riparo da speculazioni o variazioni di mercato. Prima  gli accertamenti dell’Antitrust, che aveva multato le due società e le banche, e oggi l’inchiesta della Procura di Milano avrebbero portato alla luce una truffa milionaria. Le persone coinvolte sono decine di migliaia, si legge sui giornali. Piccoli e grandi risparmiatori, famosi e non solo, che hanno visto azzerarsi il valore, promesso, dei diamanti acquistati.
