Nessuno però dice quello che noi diciamo da tempo.
Riportiamo uno stralcio di un nostro articolo di settembre che coinvolge milioni di famiglie:

In questi giorni si stanno svolgendo i test di ammissione ai corsi universitari soggetti al numero chiuso, e in particolare si sono già svolti i test per l’ammissione alla facoltà di medicina e nei prossimi giorni si svolgeranno i test per le altre facoltà a numero chiuso, come architettura. Tutti i principali quotidiani nazionali hanno riportato il difficile calvario  affrontato da migliaia di aspiranti studenti.

Inoltre, le famiglie degli aspiranti studenti per l’ammissione all’università devono sostenere un gravoso impegno economico, spendendo da “poche” centinaia di euro sino ad arrivare anche ai 10.000 / 15.000 Euro, per pagare: i corsi di preparazione ai test di ammissione, le tasse per l’iscrizione ai test in ogni ateneo in cui si sosterranno le prove di ammissione, i costi di viaggio e di alloggio per raggiungere e permanere nelle sedi di svolgimento dei test, i corsi di formazione ai test, le rette delle università private che hanno bandito i loro esami parecchi mesi prima delle statali e che chiedono il pagamento prima che i test pubblici abbiano inizio.

Il diritto allo studio sancito dall’art. 34 della nostra Costituzionee, ormai, anche dall’art.14 della Carta fondamentale dei diritti dell’Ue, parte integrante dei Trattati dell’Ue, sta diventando, di fatto, un diritto basato sul censo e sull’aleatorietà, piuttosto che dei capaci e dei meritevoli, come vorrebbe l’art. 34 Cost.

Quanto sia discutibile e surreale il modo di accedere ai corsi a numero chiuso nelle nostre università è ben riassunto in una dichiarazione del rettore della Luiss., Prof. Celli, resa in un’intervista al Corriere della Sera del 9 agosto scorso (pag. 21) nella quale dichiarava che i nostri studenti non dovrebbero spendere cifre ingenti per superare gli esami di ammissione, ma allenarsi con il Sudoku ed una clessidra per abituarsi alla gestione del tempo.

Qualcuno ci risponderà che il numero chiuso nelle facoltà ci viene imposto proprio dall’Unione europea. In effetti, in molti altri paesi europei diverse facoltà, e in particolare molte facoltà di medicina sono soggette da tempo al cosiddetto“numerus clausus”, ma il meccanismo di selezione di chi accede alle facoltà a numero chiuso è ben diverso da quello a cui assistiamo in questi giorni, improntato ad aleatorietà e non certo al principio della meritocrazia.

In Francia, per esempio, il numero chiuso nelle facoltà di medicina è stato introdotto già nel lontano  1971 dall’allora Ministro Simone Veil. Oggi in francia il numero chiuso in medicina stabilisce il numero di studenti del primo anno che potranno accedere al secondo anno di medicina e tale numero è stabilito in funzione di quanti medici (farmacisti, ecc.ecc.) lo stato necessita. Questo crea un meccanismo meritocratico e basato sul rendimento negli studi dello studente, di forte competizione tra gli studenti, a tutto vantaggio della collettività che vedrà i migliori accedere alla laurea in medicina ed, un domani, essere i nostri medici.

In Inghilterra, patria non solo Europea delle Università, il sistema chiuso è accentrato in un unico organismo e basato sui titoli accademici degli aspiranti studenti, quelli che hanno titoli più alti possono accedere al colloquio motivazionale nelle università più prestigiose del mondo (Cambridge, Oxford…).

Da noi sino allo scorso anno dovevi scegliere in quale delle università del Belpaese tentare la sorte, da quest’anno sono nati i raggruppamenti territoriali che il Ministro Profumo ha istituito nel tentativo, mal riuscito per le cronache di tutti i giornali e le testimonianze di studenti e famiglie inferocite, di razionalizzare un sistema folle. 

NESSUNO RIFLETTE SULLA MIGRAZIONE ALL’ESTERO DEI NOSTRI STUDENTI. ORMAI E’ UN ESODO DI MASSA. LE FAMIGLIE CHE POSSONO SPENDONO DECINE DI MIGLIAIA DI EURO L’’ANNO (FUORI DAL PAESE) PER MANTENERE I FIGLI IN UNIVERSITA’ DI VERO PRESTIGIO IN EUROPA E FUORI.
